Amazing insight into the animal-human connectionAug 13, 2009 These books are amazing, and Megan is a visionary practitioner and teacher. Animal massage seems so complicated, but she gives readers confidence with her thorough and understandable approach. Here is a resource that not only illustrates the therapeutic value of the animal-human connection, but also helps us make the most of it. Every horse and dog owner should read these books!

New time with my horsesAug 12, 2009 After 25 years of happy horse ownership, I did not realize I was in a bit of a rut until I got this book. Megan Ayrault's book opened up many new hours of fun and reconnecting with my favorite creatures and I can tell they are even happier to see me than ever before. It is nice to know that now they connect me with other good things besides treats, and that the sessions we have created (see chapter 7!) have left such a positive impression.
I use the tips from the section called "Loosening the Glutes" on my 25 yr old mare for several minutes before the farrier comes and I notice she is much less stiff when he needs to pick up her back legs. I do not remember when I have dome something that took so little effort and yet was so rewarding. I HIGHLY recommend this very pleasurable and easy read which will get anybody connecting better with their horse!

Very informative and well presented book. I highly recommend it!Aug 11, 2009 As and equine Veterinarian, I wish all of my clients had this book. That way they would be more aware of the places their horse was hurting and we could catch little areas of pain before they became real problems. Kari DeLeeuw DVM, VSMT, CVA
My Horse Loved Megan's Book!Aug 10, 2009 "Reading The Horse Lover's Guide to Massage should be on every horse-owner's, rider's or trainer's To-Do list. Few could summarize the vast world of massage and bodywork with such clarity and enthusiasm as Megan has in this book. Having known her and watched her professionally for many years, I was overjoyed to see how much of her compassion for the animals shines through in her words. I now have an answer for that plaguing question; 'What can I get my horse-loving friends that they don't already have!'"
